Loss of power

I’ve had some odd power issues with my HP Envy desktop machine. Today it unexpectedly powered off and wouldn’t come back on. I’ve seen this before, last month, where it seemed to require a mains disconnect. On this occasion I unplugged the IEC cable from the back of the machine, i.e. it was still a live cable, then re-inserted it. Everything then worked fine. I’m assuming there’s a resettable fuse in the HP power supply. The question is, what’s tripping it? Looking back through the log I can see a hint of a pattern. There’s a cluster of three events a month ago, when I had the same refusal to power back on. Note the highlighted entries, below. They’re exactly 30 days apart, almost to the minute. I’m wondering if something on the grid is executing a monthly self-test, or similar event, and triggering a fail-safe in the PSU. I'll set a reminder for this time next month to investigate further.
